Payroll Employee Notes/Statuses, Employee Surveys & Discipline Reports

Over the past few weeks, we’ve introduced several new features, minor improvements, and bug fixes.

Payroll Employees Statuses & Notes

We’ve rolled out some major upgrades to improve the way you manage Payroll Employees. Firstly, you are able to add notes to specific employee records for a specific payroll, allowing you to share any details you may need for future reference, or another colleague may need.

Further, we now allow you to set a status to the Payroll Employee, keeping track of which employee’s Salaries may have been disbursed and which have not been.

Company Discipline Report

We’ve introduced a report that shows overall company-level statistics on disciplinary actions relating to incidents and infractions. This report allows you to see trends, and statistics relating to disciplinary actions at your organization.

Surveys

We’re continuing to roll out our Employees Survey feature. In this release, we’re introducing several upgrades to the Survey workflow.

Survey Form & Publishing

Allowing you to build and send out surveys to your employees.

Survey Emails

Recipients of surveys will now receive emails once a survey is launched, along with reminder emails once due dates are approaching.

Survey Submissions & Statistics

For surveys that are not anonymous, you’re able to see data on specific survey submissions, and a report with statistics based on the submissions.

User Management Upgrades

We’ve upgraded the design and flow of the Users Management panel, with a new look and more automated functionality.

Further, if you view a user, you’re able to see a lot more details such as the Login History and Audit Trails of activities for this user over time.

Minor Features and Updates

1. Salary Import – The Salary Import fields have been removed from the “Employee Import” functionality and will now be imported through the “Salary Import” functionality.
2. Infraction & Incident Emails – An additional email will be sent out for updates on Notes and Documents added to Infraction.
3. Salary Import – You can now import decimal values for all fields in this import.
4. Tabular Payslip Email – Standard Overtime is now a column on the Tabular Payslip format email.
5. Paysheet Spreadsheet Export – There is now a `;` delimiter for the net deductions column if there are multiple net deductions.
6. Infraction/Incident Note Emails. When a note/document is added to an infraction/incident, an email is sent to all stakeholders notifying them of this activity.
7. Paysheet Approved By. We’ve now added the Approved By: at the bottom of the paysheet along with a toggle in the columns selector to show/hide this value.

Bug Fixes

1. Incident & Infraction Page – Fixed the bug where only 25 incidents/infractions were shown.
2. Bank Information on Paysheet export – Fixed the issue where the incorrect bank would be shown for employees on the Paysheet Excel Export.
3. PAYE e-Submission – Fixed an issue in PAYE e-Submission that caused an undefined error to appear if no date was chosen.
